Klim Unveils the All‑New Rogue Armor System at EICMA

Klim’s 2026 motorcycle lineup represents a major leap forward in rider-focused innovation,” said Brent Harden, Category Director at Klim. “We’re thrilled to introduce our all-new Rogue protectors—lighter, thinner, softer and more comfortable than before, while exceeding impact standards where others fall short.”
Going Rogue: A New Standard in Protection
Klim’s Rogue armor was born from a need for thinner, lighter and more breathable protection without compromising impact absorption across varying conditions. CE testing standards for motorcycle armor require passing impact absorption tests in two conditions: Ambient and Wet. However, two optional test conditions also exist: Hot and Cold. Adventurous riders will easily get themselves into conditions that exceed the limitations of the two required CE tests, so Klim sought armor that would pass more conditions. After exhaustive market research failed to yield a solution that met their needs, Klim decided to build it themselves. Over the course of years-long development, they invested heavily in building a Rapid Prototyping Lab and Hard Parts Department, conducting hundreds of tests across a multitude of compounds and structures to engineer an armor system that meets and exceeds CE Level 1 and Level 2 standards.

Introducing Rogue Level 1 and Level 2
Klim’s new Rogue armor delivers a thinner, lighter, and more breathable solution compared to the previous armor used in its Gore‑Tex Adventure and Touring outerwear. Remarkably, the Rogue Level 2 limb pads are now as thin as the former Level 1 versions. Both Rogue Level 1 and Level 2 limb protectors meet all four CE test conditions—Ambient, Wet, Hot, and Cold—providing the most comprehensive protection package ever offered in Klim gear.
Riders will notice a significant reduction in overall garment weight and bulk, resulting in a more refined fit and enhanced comfort. Breathability has also been dramatically improved, allowing the Gore‑Tex waterproof membrane to perform at its highest potential.

The Rogue EXP Level 2 pads deliver expanded coverage—hence “EXP”—providing significantly more protective surface area than standard CE‑rated pads. This upgraded limb armor passes all four CE test conditions (Ambient, Wet, Cold, and Hot), ensuring consistent performance in extreme environments. From blistering heat to sub‑freezing temperatures, Rogue EXP Level 2 is engineered to protect riders wherever their adventures lead.
Each Rogue EXP Level 2 pad features an asymmetrical design and a purpose‑built molding pattern that enhances impact absorption, coverage, flexibility, and airflow. New for 2026, Klim is also offering compact armor sizes for smaller garments in the Badlands Pro, Badlands Pro A3, and Kodiak lines, delivering a more tailored and comfortable fit across the full size range.
Rogue EXP Level 2 is fully backward compatible with previous generations of KLIM Badlands Pro and Badlands Pro A3 jackets and pants.
Klim’s 2026 Adventure and Touring collections have been completely redesigned, incorporating refined Gore‑Tex construction, improved mobility, smarter pocket configurations, optimized ventilation, and cleaner overall ergonomics. With the addition of Rogue armor, every piece benefits from reduced weight, less bulk, and enhanced breathability—further reinforcing Klim’s commitment to elevating the rider experience.
