Romain Febvre delivered a brilliant home‑soil victory after pressuring Jorge Prado early. Prado eventually tipped over, allowing Febvre to take control and manage the race to the finish. Lucas Coenen claimed third behind Prado with a gritty ride, clearly battling his leg injury as he immediately grabbed at it after the checkered flag.

Guillem Farres impressed with a strong fourth and top‑250 finish, putting Spain in a commanding position after Valin suffered a heavy crash and DNF’d. Jan Pancar followed in fifth, while Forato made a late move on McLellan to secure sixth. Levi Kitchen had been in that same battle—running ahead of Forato and chasing McLellan—before a crash dropped him outside the top 20. Beaumer rode well to round out the top ten.
